What Objectives is#
Objectives is a review page for the outcomes you've delegated to Sidekick in conversation. When you ask Sidekick to take on a larger piece of work, it becomes an objective you can track here, separate from the moment-to-moment chat.
Objectives are created and updated by talking to Sidekick, not by filling in a form on this page. Ask Sidekick for what you need, and it appears here for workspace-level review.
Where to find it#
Open Objectives at /dashboard/<workspaceId>/objectives. Each row shows:
- Title — what the objective is
- Priority — P0 (most urgent) through P4
- Status — pending, in progress, blocked, paused, done, or cancelled
- Last updated, and a due-date horizon if one was set
- Success criteria — how you and Sidekick will know it's done
Objective detail#
Open an objective to see its full success criteria, any constraints Sidekick is working within, and a free-text progress note describing where things stand.
An empty workspace shows "No delegated objectives yet" until the first one is created through chat.
info Objectives is a review surface, not a task editor. To create, change, or cancel an objective, ask Sidekick directly — see Delegating tasks.
Ask Sidekick directly#
You can also work with objectives entirely from chat: ask "what have I delegated" or "what are my objectives" for the current list, and "cancel that" (naming the objective) to stop Sidekick's standing work toward it. Sidekick confirms before cancelling, and cancelling something already cancelled is a safe no-op — it just tells you the current state.
