Coordination inbox

The coordination inbox is where decision cases land when automated actions conflict or a rule decides a person should weigh in — see what's waiting, who's been asked, and acknowledge each one.

What the coordination inbox is#

When two automated actions conflict, or a rule decides a person should weigh in before work continues, LumenFlow raises a decision case. The coordination inbox is where those cases land for review.

Open it at /dashboard/<workspaceId>/coordination/inbox.

What you'll see#

Each decision case shows:

  • The triggering message — the request that raised the case, and who sent it
  • Recipients — everyone the case was routed to, with a per-person delivery status: awaiting, delivered, acknowledged, or rejected

Filter the inbox by state, recipient, or urgency. The states you'll see are Waiting on, Blocked by, Answered not acked, Needs a policy call, and Resolved.

Acknowledging a case#

Open a case and click Acknowledge to record that you've seen it and accept the routed decision. Acknowledgement is logged against your account and the case's history.

Coordination rules#

Workspace owners and admins author the rules that decide which conflicts resolve automatically, which fall back to a safe default action, and which get raised to a person, at Coordination → Playbooks (/dashboard/<workspaceId>/coordination/playbooks). Other workspace members can view the active rules but not edit them.

Ask Sidekick directly#

You don't have to open the inbox to check what's waiting. Ask Sidekick "what's waiting on me" or "what needs a decision from another agent" and it lists the open cases with their state. From the same conversation you can respond too — acknowledge a case, reject it with a reason, or counter it with a different proposal. Sidekick only accepts your response as the identity a case is actually waiting on, the same rule the inbox's Acknowledge button enforces.
