What LumenFlow sees once a runtime is connected#
Connect any LumenFlow-governed runtime to your workspace and the control plane captures the full activity surface of your agents — not just a slice. This works for any client, model, or BYOK setup: the signal rides your everyday commands, so it does not depend on a particular vendor's hooks.
Captured streams include:
- Tool activity — which tools agents invoked, with status and timing
- Lane signals and workflow progress
- Model/classification activity and methodology signals
- Prompt quality checks
- Incidents — failures and their context
Governance evidence#
Beyond activity, LumenFlow records governance evidence as first-class, tamper-evident audit facts:
- Force-bypass events — when someone overrode a guardrail, with who, when, on which branch, and why
- Skipped-gate events — when quality gates were skipped, with the reason, the work unit, and any follow-up reference
This is the evidence an auditor or a security review asks for: not "trust us," but a queryable record of every override and every skip.
Emission coverage#
For each workspace you can see whether a connected client is actually emitting — so you can tell the difference between:
- a client that is fully connected and reporting,
- one that is connected but not yet upgraded (emitting only part of the surface), and
- one that is emitting nothing.
No more guessing whether silence means "all clear" or "not wired up."
Privacy by default#
Sensitive streams — tool arguments, memory contents, and incident detail — are sent metadata-only by default: free text is replaced with a hash and a size, never the raw content. You see the shape and volume of activity without exfiltrating user content. An operator can opt an individual stream into full payloads when the workspace needs it.
Where to see it#
Agent activity and emission coverage surface on the Observe area; governance evidence (force-bypass and skipped-gate records) surfaces on the governance views. If you ask Sidekick about what LumenFlow captures or about a workspace's governance posture, it will point you to the page that owns the live data.
