Your morning briefing, always current#
The Today dashboard is where operators start their day. It answers three questions in seconds: what moved forward, what is stuck, and what is it costing?
Open Sidekick > Today from any workspace to see the live snapshot.
Rollup cards#
Three headline cards sit at the top of the page:
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Outcomes moved | Count of delegated objectives that advanced recently |
| Blocked decisions | Pending approvals or review-only signals that need your attention |
| Attributable spend | Total USD cost (exact attribution) or a partial/unavailable indicator |
Each card includes a short explanation so you never have to guess what the number means.
Delegated work inbox#
Below the rollup cards, every active objective appears in one of three swim lanes:
| Lane | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Attention needed | Something is blocked, rejected, or requires a human decision |
| Background progress | Work is moving forward autonomously — no action required |
| Quiet / Unlinked | Objectives with no recent activity or no linked routine |
Click any objective to jump to its Activity or Approvals surface.
info The Today dashboard refreshes on every page load. It pulls from the same delegated-work snapshot used by objectives and routines, so the numbers always agree.
Cost attribution#
Sidekick tracks token usage and estimated cost per objective. When exact attribution is available, you see a dollar figure. When only partial data exists, the card says "Partial" so you know the number is incomplete.
warning Cost attribution depends on the model provider returning usage metadata. BYOK providers that omit token counts will show "Unavailable" until the data is present.
